It's all about relationships & results...
Welcome to our site! I'm confident you will find very helpful information about Austin and the surrounding area. I've made the home search features easy to browse by most of the popular communities and by price range for your convenience.
Lanier Realty was formed with the philosophy that the client should have to do as little as possible...leave the hassles to us. Moving is stressful enough; it's best to leave the additional drama for our team to handle. That's why we're here. We also offer an extensive list of referrals to help turn your house into a home. Whether you need a contractor, painter, designer, whatever...we have it covered. Once again, we believe that the client has enough to deal with, let us eliminate some of the grunt work for you, if we can. We know that buying and selling your home is a big deal. We want you to feel like it's not.

I started in the real estate business in 1971, when $35,000 was the average price of a median family home in Austin. At that time, a $100,000 home would have been considered in the luxury market. In the 80’s the interest rate rocketed to 18%!
Today, mortgage rates are in the single-digits, a substantial improvement. Not only have rates changed, but so has real estate technology. This gives me more reason to enjoy my career, which I view in much the same way as I do my hobbies of bowling and golf. To me, selling and listing real estate is fun. I enjoy working with friends and past clients and meeting new people. I always tell my clients to be prepared to have a good time! In my opinion, one of the most important qualities in a Realtor is promptness. I make it a priority to call my clients back as quickly as possible. By choosing me as their Realtor, they can also expect honesty and 37 years of experience.
My friends and family tell me I am an enthusiastic person who never meets a stranger. I am proud to say that most of my past clients are now friends. Many of them have referred me to their friends, family and even their children and grandchildren.
I was raised in Granger, Texas and made Austin my home when I turned 17 years old. At the young age of 19, I married my sweetheart of only 3 weeks. We had four wonderful children and were married for almost 50 years. When my children were young, I took up bowling and became the first woman in Austin to bowl a 300 game. Years later, I was honored by the Texas Bowler’s Hall of Fame.
I’ve been involved in some interesting businesses, such as co-owner of a motorcycle rental shop, an employee of IRS, and a certified bowling instructor for Bobby Layne Bowling center. But I found my true calling as a Realtor/Broker. Over the years, I have been an active member of the Austin Board of Realtors (ABOR) and Texas Real Estate Commission. I also served on a committee for ABOR. I’m an active member of Gateway Church, the Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA) Austin Women’s Golf Association (AWGA).
My spare time is spent with my friends, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and on trying to improve my golf score. In addition, I enjoy my church and reading mysteries.
This is my favorite saying: Life’s journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting, “What a ride!”

I've been involved in the real estate industry since 1996, starting as a loan officer for a mortgage company in Salt Lake City. In 1998 I moved to Austin and went to work for a large mortgage bank and residential developer. I was responsible for managing multiple projects and sales teams. In spite of my achievements, I didn't find my passion until I instigated my entrepreneurial spirit and started my own mortgage company, Freedom Financial, in 2000 www.texasbestloans.com. Instead of forcing mass production and managing multiple projects and teams, I made the decision to focus on my long-term business goals and the overall quality of life and service to clients. I have carved a niche by offering both mortgage and real estate services, business & life coaching, portfolio management and asset acquisition. I've closed hundreds of transactions and I'm recognized as a top producer in the Austin area. Complimenting my licensed real estate services with my knowledge and background as a mortgage professional and real estate investor, I am uniquely qualified to handle both financial and logistical transaction details that far exceeds that of my competition.
I have a deep commitment to values, family and business. I am a proud and active father to 4 wonderful children and my beautiful wife. I truly enjoy meeting new people and providing everything that I can to make their life better.
I enjoy traveling with my family, motocross, hanging out on the lake, scuba diving, pretty much any extreme sport, cooking, body building, fishing (no hunting), remodeling, buying and selling real estate, coaching champions & leaders, playing music (the drums rule!), meeting new friends and serving my clients.
Thank you for visiting our website! Please consider our site as your online source for local real estate information, and return often for the latest property listing updates. And please remember, when you want a hard working professional to assist you with your real estate & mortgage needs, give me a call.

I've worked in the 'high tech' industry, in Equipment Engineering, for almost 18 years, and while I enjoy working in that industry, in 2006 I made the decision to develop another career in Real Estate. I've lived in Tennessee, Alabama, Florida and now Texas. I moved to Austin 14 years ago and I've watched the Real Estate market in Austin develop. I've lived in the Austin hill country for the last 6 years. I'm very familiar with many of the exciting and diverse neighborhoods throughout Austin. In addition, I'm a active Real Estate investor throughout the city. My belief is that it's important to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to changing macroeconomic conditions in order to better serve my clients. The needs of my clients will always take a front seat in all Real Estate transactions.
In my free time, I'm a voracious golfer, and enjoy jogging, tennis, cycling as well as motor cycle riding. I live by the motto: "The quality of a person's life is in direct proportion to his or her commitment to excellence, regardless of his or her chosen field of endeavor...". I love the Austin area and look forward to helping everyone, in their search to find their dream home, in addition to selling their existing property. I'm looking forward to serving all of your Real Estate needs.
I have two wonderful teen age children. I spend most of the July doing all the fun things that my kids and I enjoy most. Those things include going to the lake, swimming, bike riding, movies, flying kites as well as going to all of the surround theme parks. This year, for the first time, I will ride in the 'MS 150'. It is a bike ride (Lance Armstrong style) from Houston to Austin. The ride is approximately 150 miles long and we will complete it in 2 days. I've been training for several months but I'm sure riding for 6 hours straight (in one day) will be a true test regardless of previous training. The event is held to help raise money and awareness for the 'National Multiple Sclerosis Society'. We ride for 'the cure'. http://www.ms150.org/ms150/
Thanks for taking the time to read my Bio. I do look forward to serving your Real Estate needs. Whether it be 'buying, selling or refinancing', our team will be more than happy to take care of your needs quickly and with the utmost professionalism.

Growing up with a mother who was a Real Estate Broker, I feel like Real Estate has always been in my blood. I remember sitting at open houses with her on most weekends and even helping her remodel the bank foreclosure properties she listed. I have always wanted to become a Realtor and it feels great to do what I have always known I would love! My upbringing, combined with the past 5 years I have spent working in the Real Estate Industry for a Mortgage Broker, Title Company and Real Estate Broker give me a comprehensive understanding of all facets of the Real Estate transaction process.
Having personally moved to 6 different states and 2 different countries since graduating college, I have an intimate understanding of the economic, emotional and logistical impact of re-establishing one’s life. Among all of the places I have lived, Austin is the place I have chosen to call my home. I strive to be a resource to my clients in helping them to make the most of Austin’s unlimited amenities, whether they are relocating or long-time residents.
“Knowledge is power” is the fundamental precept that governs the way I live and conduct business. My goal is to use my knowledge and experience to fully educate my clients on the numerous details that will affect their personal real estate transactions. I continually research market conditions, economic forecasts and local community news, giving my clients the power they deserve when making one of the most important investment decisions of their lives.
I am known for my systematic approach and detailed follow-through. My clients are always kept fully informed, and will be catered to, every step of the way.
While my primary goal in real estate is serving others, I gain personal satisfaction from serving my community. My husband and I are active members of Gateway Church and serve as lead mentors for the refugee family our church sponsors. Originally from Burundi, Africa, our family has lived as refugees in a UN-sponsored refugee camp in Tanzania before coming to the United States. The children were taught French in their camp, but not English, so I have had the opportunity to be a primary communicator with them. That French major has finally paid off! Our team’s job has been to assimilate the family into their new American lives, introducing them to the concept of electricity, cooking, banking, learning English and even finding employment. It has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
Whether a seasoned investor or first time home buyer or seller, I look forward to empowering you with the wisdom to fulfill your real estate aspirations.

CHRISTY LANIER ATTWOOD
I am a proud native Austinite who has witnessed unbelievable growth in the city. Austin has become one of the hottest spots in the United States and I’m delighted to be living and working here.
I grew up in a real estate oriented family. Early in their marriage, my father and mother saw the value in real estate investments. My mother, Evelyn Lanier, “caught the bug” and became a Realtor in 1971. Over the years, I watched her as she worked and often pondered the secret to her success and more specifically, why she so enjoyed her occupation. Finally, I decided to see for myself when, in 1996, I got my real estate license. Since then, I have learned why she thinks of her work with as much enthusiasm as her hobbies. There is a great deal of satisfaction in helping someone find their dream home or assisting another in selling a home which no longer fits their needs. The big plus is I get to make new friends with every transaction.
I graduated from St. Edward’s University with a major in Journalism and a minor in Real Estate. I’ve put my Journalism degree to use by contributing as a published author in the books, A Cup of Comfort and Rocking Chair Reader. I also finished my first novel and hope to soon find an agent to represent me in the publication.
I’ve adapted my writing talent to my real estate business by creating Buyers and Sellers guides, Community Profiles, and writing interesting ads for my clients. This is only a small part of what I can provide. I pride myself on being truthful, ethical and helpful. These attributes are the basics I use in my real estate as well as in my day-to-day life.
In my spare time, I love hanging out with my husband, Randy. Together we share four wonderful children and three precious grandchildren, all of whom are a huge source of joy to me. I enjoy a good game of cards, reading, traveling, cooking, eating good food, and playing with my Maltese puppy, Parker.

Scott Hardie
Scott was born in San Antonio Texas and received his Real Estate license in 1978. From that time he has been active as a real estate sales person in Texas until relocating to Atlanta. Scott held a Brokers license in Georgia and Nevada where he opened offices to market and sale new homes. In 1992 Scott relocated back to Texas and opened offices in Houston with a goal to live and do business in Austin. That time finally came in 2002 when Scott relocated his company to Austin and became a successful broker as well as a builder in the Barton Creek and Spicewood area.
Scott enjoys spending time on Lake Travis with friends and his loving companion, Abby, who loves to water just as much as him.
Whether you want to live in Austin or on the waters of the surrounding area, Scott has you covered.
